A veteran social worker in Lucknow, India, Dr. Arjumand ZAIDI is also a Geographer, Environmentalist and a Human Rights & Peace Activist. She is an eminent educationist with a vision to empower youth to become advocates of peace and tolerance. She is steadfastly serving the nation in moving towards the provisions of equal rights, peace, tolerance and nurturing humanity.

Dr. Zaidi is running a global campaign called “Peace and Tolerance through Human Rights”. The aim of this project is to make people aware of human rights in accordance with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and to motivate people to commit to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
