Patrick Tocko Maloum is an expert in international conflict resolution and in the fight against violent extremism. He has worked in the Central African Republic, in Côte-d’Ivoire, and in the Democratic Republic of Congo with civil society organisations and with UN missions to support conflict resolution, gender integration mediation, disarmament, demobilization and the reintegration of child soldiers. His work includes projects fighting against militarization of children, forced marriages of young girls and sexual violence against girls during and after war.
For his role as National Coordinator of a UN network of youth leaders in Cameroon (Réseau des Jeunes Leaders UN Cameroun), Patrick Maloum returned to help contain the migratory flow of refugees and to prevent regionalization of the conflict. Recognizing the urgency to reorient crisis management towards the youth, he has contributed to the organization of young refugees from Central Africa in colonies in Cameroon by getting them actively involved in the crisis resolution process and the reconstruction of public spaces in their country. He is the author of many articles, and is presently working on putting in place a sub-regional centre to fight against violent extremism.

Maloum is fabulous i give him my support because he has created a craft for peace in which he traces all the life of the great panafricanists as Nelson Mandel to Thomas Sankara.

In its community academies for peace, there is a phase of professional reintegration reserved for young mothers girls ; orphans, in short, to the vulnerable because Maloum is convinced that one of the axes of the conflict is lack of doing so, he promotes a good professional reintegration of the poor to Build a peaceful Africa and especially peaceful humans

Maloum has achieved a lot of mediation inter community in Chad , Cameroon ,in central republic also inter-religious mediations that is why it deserves international recognition by this prize in order to make even more visible these actions
TOCKO is a very brave man he launched a project ‘kill not my brother’ whose goal is to fight against proliferation of light weapons by this project he took a lot of risks at cost of his life. And he and his team were able to recover between Cameroon and the Equatorial Guinea 2,500 light weapons

The organization of which Tocko Maloum coordinates the network of the young leaders of the united nations has created in partnership with africa dance a cultural collective for the peace whose objective is to offer humorous spectacles on peace online. this collective in its facebook page Has already 30000 members and it is Tocko Maloum who also drives this collective

I am a radio journalist I give my support to Maloum for his bravery I remember during the riots of 2008 in Cameroon Maloum had broadcast a message of unity and solidarity in the antennas of my radio and this message had been listened to on all The territory of Cameroon.
