Distinción otorgada por su perseverancia en la búsqueda de la paz y la resolución de conflictos y por su labor como defensor de los derechos humanos y del medio ambiente. ¡FELICITACIONES!

Dur Khan es un policía retirado de la provincia de Khyber Pakhtunkhwa de Pakistán. Antes de su retiro desempeñó su deber con dedicación y patriotismo por su amado país. Él es un activista por la paz y dedica su tiempo a trabajar voluntariamente como  defensor de los derechos humanos de todos, incluidos los ancianos, las mujeres y las niñas.

Ha dejado atrás sus días de ser un famoso cazador de animales salvajes y ahora es conocido como un ambientalista y alguien que busca la paz. Es presidente de Zaroowanan Jirga, una asociación para personas mayores, y a menudo se le pide que ayude a resolver conflictos y desacuerdos entre los aldeanos.

Actualmente se dedica a resolver problemas como la necesidad de la educación para las niñas, desalentar el matrimonio precoz y forzado de niñas y mujeres jóvenes, a detener la violencia contra las mujeres, los malos tratos y torturas de todas las personas. Él busca formas de contrarrestar el extremismo en sus comunidades. Dentro de su comunidad, él es una voz de sabiduría y paz.

    A famous Pakistani hunter of wildlife turned Peace Maker and Environmentalist.

    I am fully supporting Mr.Dur Khan for selfless services for peace, social and human rights and recommend his name from Pakistan for the world’s prestigious award Public Peace Prize. Dur Khan is a retired police Hawaldar and village elder, and peace activist from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly North-West Frontier) province of Pakistan. He ‎works as volunteer and activist for human rights, Activist for senior citizens rights and for women rights. He was a famous hunter of wildlife who turned peace maker and environmentalist.

    Dur Khan is a former Hunter of Wildlife and expert shooter turned peace builder, peace activist, women and senior citizens rights activist, environmentalist and President of Zaroowanan Jirga(An Associations for Senior Citizens). He is resolving conflict issues between the villagers.

    Dur Khan is campaigning for action and mobilizing for peace through his Community

    He has served as a devoted and law abiding Police Hawaldar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and performed his duty with dedication and patriotism for his beloved country Pakistan.

    Mr.Khan is fighting for the rights of women, girls and children. He is also fighting against the physical torture, violence against women and girls in the man dominated society.

    He is also fighting against the forced marriage of girls with aged men. He dislikes and discourages the early marriage of young girls.

    He is spreading the message of peace through his community.
    He is mobilizing women and girls for peace-building at their areas.

    He is settling disputes between man and woman.

    He is convincing the parents to admit their girls in school for imparting education.

    Dur Khan is protecting the human rights of young women and girls in Pakistan.
    Being a retired Police he works on countering violent extremism in Pakistan

After retirement from Police he is working for human rights for all and social issues faced by the community in Pakistan. please award him PPP 18 as he deserves for this International recognition
