Mrs. Miraj Bibi, young primary school teacher at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department of Pakistan, has played an active role in education. She has established a free Tuition Centre for the poor boys and girls in her native town Khot Valley, where she imparted basic skills.
She is well known for her educational acumen, integrity, sincerity, concern for the poor children and dedication to the profession of education. She relentlessly confronted social and cultural bias and odds and emerged as an icon of the women’s education in Chitral.

Celebrated annually on November 19 in 80 countries, this Day was founded in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago to better understanding the challenges facing boys and men in a global perspective of non-violence and peace. The themes explored through a wide range of activities are mental health, fatherhood and reduction of gender inequalities. Search for a way of transforming social relations with the participation of peace organizations, women’s movements, politicians and individuals in the community.
